The New York Jets activated running back Le’Veon Bell from injured reserve this week, and he has been cleared to play Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Bell will be sharing the work in the Jets’ backfield with the ageless Frank Gore.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets RBs Le’Veon Bell, Frank Gore
The Jets offense is in terrible shape. This week, they will have Joe Flacco starting at quarterback, giving it one more variable of unpredictability. Last week, Gore led La’Mical Perine in carries, but was only able to net 30 yards on 13 rushes.
Bell has a little more value than Gore, because he has a role to play in the passing game, and the Jets are likely to be throwing the ball an awful lot in this one. That gives him some value as a flex option in fantasy, but you can probably find better players to plug and play.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Frank Gore and Le’Veon Bell.
