What to do with Logan Thomas in Week 5 fantasy football

It’s been hard for tight end Logan Thomas to produce in the Washington Football Team’s moribund offense. But this week, the team is changing its quarterback, sending Dwayne Haskins to the bench for Kyle Allen. Will that benefit Thomas’ production at all?

Thomas has seen his target share decrease every week since Week 2, going from nine to four in three games. Needless to say, he’s not doing much on the stat sheet. His best game is still the season opener when he had 37 yards and a touchdown.

That could change with Allen getting the nod at quarterback this week, especially if the Rams decide to use Jalen Ramsey to shut down Washington’s most viable receiving option, Terry McLaurin. But that’s a dicey gamble to bank your fantasy hopes on this week. It’s probably best to wait and see how Thomas figures into the mix with the new QB under center.
