What to do with Mo Alie-Cox, Jack Doyle in Week 5 fantasy football

Doyle is questionable with a knee injury, but Alie-Cox is the team’s leading receiver though four games

The Colts haven’t had an extremely potent passing attack this year, relying mostly on their ground game. They might consider rethinking their game plan this week though. Tight ends Mo Alie-Cox and Jack Doyle have a very favorable matchup against a Cleveland Browns defense that has a tough time stopping tight ends.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts TEs Mo Alie-Cox, Jack Doyle

Alie-Cox is Indianapolis’ leading receiver through four games. The team as a whole isn’t putting up crazy passing numbers, as Alie-Cox just has 194 yards on the year. Though Indy has relied on the running game for most of the year, this week’s game against the Browns could be a good chance for Alie-Cox and Doyle to have big days.

The Browns give up an average on 12 fantasy points to tight ends every week, and have only held a tight end under 14 points one time. A tight end has scored in every game against Cleveland except for week three against the Washington Football Team.

Alie-Cox has scored a touchdown in consecutive weeks and the week before that he had over 100 yards receiving. This could be a good opportunity for him to do both in the same game.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Doyle doesn’t get nearly the amount of targets or yards as Alie-Cox, so sit him. But Alie-Cox has a chance to have the best game of his season on Sunday. Start him if you got him.
