Game time moved: The Broncos-Patriots game has been moved to next week, Sunday of Week 6, per Adam Schefter. The league is going to reschedule Broncos-Dolphins to make room for this game.
Sunday AM update: The Patriots have had a new positive test Sunday morning and shut down the facility. They are testing everybody and should have results later Sunday morning. Adam Schefter reports the NFL is still planning on playing the Monday game, but the game has to be in question at this point. Barring any news before 1 p.m. ET, you should bench your Patriots and Broncos.
The Week 5 match up of the New England Patriots vs the Broncos has been moved to Monday night. What should you do with Denver’s running backs? Start them? Sit them? We are here to tell you.
*Game is subject to cancellation depending on COVID positive tests, so keep that in mind
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos RBs Melvin Gordon, Phillip Lindsay
Melvin Gordon is a familiar face in a new place. His usage with the Denver Broncos has been steady with a run heavy offense, where he can run often. If he gets similar numbers to last week’s game vs the New York Jets, where he rushed for 23 times for 107 yards and 2 TD’s then he is a must start in both season long and DFS. I expect him to, even with a returning Phillip Lindsay.
Lindsay is the Bronco’s former #1 at RB. Returning after a three week absence, Lindsey should be eased in to the rushing game. While, he will get carries, I expect Gordon to command a heavier load given his success last week. He could get some looks in the slot, but not enough to merit a start.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Gordon, sit Lindsay. Gordon should feature nicely vs a banged up NE defense.
