Game status: Mixon is ACTIVE for Week 5.

Game day update: Mixon is expected to play, per Adam Schefter.

The Cincinnati Bengals listed running back Joe Mixon as questionable for this week’s road game against the Baltimore Ravens. He was added to the team’s injury report on Thursday with what’s being described as a shin issue. Mixon was able to practice on Friday, but in a limited role.

Fantasy impact: Joe Mixon injury

Mixon was in a similar situation last week, a late addition to the injury report with a chest issue. He suited up and had one of the most explosive performances of his four-year career last week, rolling up 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns, adding another 30 receiving yards and a touchdown through the air. That was against the Jaguars though, and the Ravens figure to be a more difficult matchup.

Signs point to Mixon playing this week, so you shouldn’t have to worry about having him in your lineup. However, you shouldn’t expect numbers like that against Baltimore.
