Game status: Ruggs is ACTIVE for Week 5.

Game day update: The Raiders have not made a final decision on Ruggs, but he is hoping to play on Sunday, per Tom Pelissero. The decision will likely come after pre-game warmups.

The Las Vegas Raiders have listed wide receiver Henry Ruggs as questionable on the Week 5 injury report. Ruggs has been dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of action since the second week of the season. Despite the questionable designation, the rookie receiver seems likely to play as he was a full participant at practice on Thursday and Friday.

Fantasy impact: Henry Ruggs injury

Ruggs’ return is good news for the Raiders, but it’s a tough game against the Chiefs, one of the best defenses in the NFL when it comes to limiting fantasy points for receivers. The upside for Ruggs this week is that the Raiders are likely to be playing from behind, forcing quarterback Derek Carr to throw the ball a lot more. Nevertheless, he’s not quite the sure thing in fantasy this week that his teammates Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller are. Having Ruggs back in the mix could also take away targets for Hunter Renfrow.
