Noah Fant is on the Broncos final injury report for Week 5. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

The Denver Broncos will not have tight end Noah Fant in the lineup for their Monday afternoon game against the New England Patriots. Fant, who injured his ankle last week against the Jets, was ruled out when the team released the official injury report on Saturday afternoon.

Fantasy impact: Noah Fant injury

Head coach Vic Fangio held out some hope earlier in the week that Fant would be on the field for this game. However, he was unable to get in any practice time all week. Fant had a strong start to the season scoring in back-to-back games in Weeks 1 and 2. He’s posted a total of 219 yards on 19 catches, and is still a close second on the team in overall targets.

Jake Butt and Nick Vannett will probably get most of the reps at tight end without Fant, but they’re both primarily the blocking types, and not worth fantasy attention.
