Game time moved: The Patriots had another positive test on Sunday, requiring them to shut down the facility. Broncos-Patriots game has been moved to next week, Sunday of Week 6, per Adam Schefter. The league is going to reschedule Broncos-Dolphins to make room for this game.
Another week, another questionable designation on the official injury report for Julian Edelman. We’ve lost count just how many times Edelman has been listed as questionable on the New England Patriots’ always-cryptic injury report, but he almost always plays, and that is not going to change this week.
Fantasy impact: Julian Edelman injury
Last week, Edelman had just three catches on six targets for a grand total of 35 yards. The problem isn’t really Edelman, it’s that the Patriots were without starting quarterback Cam Newton in a tough outing last week against the Chiefs. The Patriots did return to practice on Saturday, but Newton was still absent. Edelman’s fantasy value is mostly tied up in Newton’s return, and there’s a chance Newton is able to play this week. However, even if Newton’s out, the Broncos are soft enough on defense that Edelman still has some fantasy value as a third receiver in most lineups.
