The Los Angeles Lakers won their 17th NBA championship, matching the Boston Celtics for the most in league history. All would seem to be right with the world when one of the blue bloods is back on top.
In light of how crazy 2020 has been, we got an even more important sign of normalcy: J.R. Smith went shirtless as soon as the title was clinched!

Four years ago, the Cleveland Cavaliers knocked off the Golden State Warriors to claim the title. Smith quickly went shirtless and proceeded to continue for much of his offseason of celebration.
It’s only fitting then that Smith was shirtless to open the Lakers celebration. He did not have a particularly impactful postseason, averaging two points over ten games. Nonetheless, that was not going to stop him from enjoying the Lakers title!
Congrats to LeBron, AD, shirtless J.R., and the rest of the Lakers!
UPDATE: J.R. Smith’s Instagram Live is about what you’d expect!
