Friday update: Julio Jones has been taken off the injury report after getting a limited practice in on Friday. This was his first practice in two weeks. The rest must have done him wonders.
Thursday update: The Falcons didn’t practice on Thursday due to Covid-19 concerns, but they did put out an estimated injury report and Julio Jones would not have practiced. Jones did not practice at all last week and has yet to do so this week, which puts him as unlikely to be ready for Week 6. If he gets a limited practice in on Friday, he will have a chance to play, but starting him in fantasy would still be perilous.
The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones re-aggravated his hamstring injury on in Week 4 and was unable to play against the Panthers in Week 5 after not practicing. There hasn’t been a timetable given on his return, but he was unable to practice on Wednesday, per the injury report.
Jones has been dealing with a hamstring injury for much of the season now and we will need to see him get a full practice in before feeling good about a return to the field. Calvin Ridley is the Falcons No. 1 receiver, but Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus will see plenty of work if Jones misses anymore time.
