Week 7 of college football is here, and we thought you needed the most updated information on how the public is betting
Of course the #3 Georgia Bulldogs vs. #2 Alabama Crimson Tide is the star of the weekend. The status of Nick Saban isn’t completely settled yet, but it does look like he’ll be on the sidelines for what should be a classic in Tuscaloosa. Right now the Tide are 5-point favorites, down from -6 earlier this week.
Another game with some lopsided handle as well as fan interest is the #5 North Carolina Tar Heels and the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. The Heels are a 13-point favorite, but bettors hatred of the ‘Noles continues as 70% of the bets and 79% of the action is on Sam Howell and the visitors. UNC has looked sharper as of late, and the polls as well as the wagering community expect the resurrection in Chapel Hill under Mack Brown to continue.
Another fun game to keep an eye on will be the Central Florida Knights and the Memphis Tigers. This game might be for any chance at the AAC Championship game, as both teams have a loss in the league already. The team from Oviedo blew an 18-point lead to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane at home as a three-touchdown favorite two weeks ago, and Memphis dropped a 30-27 squeaker to the nation’s only 5-0 team in the SMU Mustangs. But the bettors aren’t scare, as Dillon Gabriel and C. are three-point favorites and getting 81% of the bets and 73% of the action.
