Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WRs DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald
There’s a clear number one guy in this group and it’s DeAndre Hopkins. He has over three times the production of any other Arizona wide receiver through five games. His 45 catches and 528 yards is the best in the NFL.
Dallas gives up almost 250 yards per game in the air, and has given up close to 300 in the first three weeks of the season. Receivers average an absurd 31 points against the Cowboys defense in fantasy. Even the worst performance of the year, the New York Giants, still averaged 17 points each.
Hopkins is sure to draw a lot of attention, as he does with every defense. So it may open opportunities for guys like Christian Kirk or Larry Fitzgerald to have big days. But Hopkins is the best wideout in the NFL for a reason: he can get open against virtually anybody.
He also has double the targets compared to anybody else in the receiving corps and has been a security blanket for second year QB Kyler Murray.
Expect another big day from him.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Hopkins. Sit Kirk and Fitzgerald.
