Mark Andrews has had a strange season so far, but he still finds a way to hit big points more often than not.
No matter what you do with Andrews, it’s a risk you’ll be starting him on one of his off weeks. But what’s the best bet this week?
Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens TE Mark Andrews
Targets are typically the best way to figure out how a tight end will fare in fantasy, but Andrews is tough to figure out. This season he’s seen games of 6, 3, 8, 3 and 9 targets. The one consistent thing with Andrews is that he’s able to score. A lot. He averages a touchdown per game.
The Eagles defense he faces off against this week has had issues containing tight ends. They’ve let tight ends catch 32 of the 37 balls thrown their way, which is terrible. They’ve also allowed five touchdowns, which is third most in the NFL, behind the Falcons and Saints. In total, Philadelphia has given up 59 fantasy points to TEs this year, fifth-worst in the league.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
The Eagles give up a lot of catches to tight ends and the Ravens should make Andrews a big part of their game plan this week. If they do, he should have a huge game.
Start Andrews.
