Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen took over among the teams’ pass catchers during Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks while Justin Jefferson saw his production decrease from recent weeks.

What should fantasy owners do if they own either of the Vikings’ wide receiver duo?

Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings WRs Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson

Thielen caught nine of 13 passes thrown his way for 80 yards with a pair of touchdowns. This was his second multi-touchdown game this season and has six scores through five games. As for Jefferson, he caught three passes on five targets for 23 yards and was kept out of the end zone.

Thielen continues to be a stud fantasy option at wide receiver, while Jefferson appears to be hit and miss, which is typical for a talented wideout. He racked up over 100 yards in consecutive weeks heading into this game and didn’t get much against the Seahawks passing defense, which ranks dead last by a wide margin in passing yards per game this season.

Fortunately, the Vikings receivers will see another beneficial matchup this weekend when they play the Atlanta Falcons, which ranks second to last in pass yards allowed per game with 335.8.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Thielen is a must-start ever single week moving forward. For this week, Jefferson can be used as a back-end third wide receiver with upside.
