The New York Giants are a disaster this season. They’re one of three teams in the league still chasing their first win. Their biggest problem is an offense that’s NFL’s second-worst unit, scoring an average of barely more than 16 points per game. But there are a few bright spots for fantasy football, among them tight end Evan Engram.
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants TE Evan Engram
Engram is averaging five targets per game, getting some help by the fact that the Giants are usually chasing points in the second half. He’s got 17 catches for 131 yards this season. He struggled through the air last week against Dallas, catching just one pass for 16 yards. He did however score on the ground, his only touchdown of the season. He had another would-be touchdown called back on a penalty. The Giants at least understand that they have to find ways to get Engram the ball, which makes him a decent option in most weeks.
They play Washington this week, a team that’s surrendered double digit points to opposing tight ends in three of five games so far this season.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Evan Engram.
