How to handle Mo Alie-Cox’s injury in Week 6 fantasy football

Mo Alie-Cox is officially OUT for Week 6. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

The Indianapolis Colts will not have tight end Mo Alie-Cox in the lineup this week when they host the Cincinnati Bengals. He has a knee injury that will keep him out of action on Sunday.

Fantasy impact: Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox

Alie-Cox got off to a nice start to the season, posting 181 yards and a touchdown through his first three games. But as soon as Trey Burton returned in Week 4, his usage in the weekly game plan faded quite a bit, enough to make him irrelevant for fantasy purposes.

Burton is the top option among Colts tight ends now, leading the team’s position group in targets over the last two games. Last week, against the Browns, he had five catches for 33 yards. The team also has Jack Doyle competing for targets at the position. As far as fantasy goes, you can pass over all of the Colts tight ends.
