Game status: Eifert is ACTIVE for Week 6.

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Tyler Eifert is listed as questionable for this week’s game against the Detroit Lions. The veteran is dealing with a neck injury. He missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but he did return in a limited role on Friday to get some work in before Sunday’s game.

Fantasy impact: Jaguars TE Tyler Eifert’s injury

We lack any clear idea of whether or not Eifert will play this week, and we will probably have to wait until Sunday to get any kind of official word on his status. You should make other plans at tight end. Even if he does play this week, Eifert doesn’t offer much fantasy value. His best game this season came in Week 2, when he caught three passes for 36 yards and a touchdown. His catch rate is a meager 48 percent, and he looks completely washed up. It’s probably safe to leave him on the waiver wire the rest of the season.
