The betting public is split on how to approach Dodgers vs. Rays in Game 1 of the 2020 World Series. We break down the splits at DraftKings Sportsbook.

The 2020 World Series gets underway Tuesday evening, with Game 1 first pitch set for 8:09 p.m. ET. Clayton Kershaw will take the hill for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Tyler Glasnow will make the start for the Tampa Bay Rays.

The betting public at DraftKings Sportsbook is split on this contest depending on the type of wager being placed. The Dodgers are favored on the moneyline at -175, while the Rays are +145. 51 percent of moneyline bets placed are on the Dodgers while 53 percent of total moneyline handle is on the Rays.

On the other hand, the Dodgers are -1.5 on the run line and are getting 69 percent of bets and 76 percent of handle. This could suggest that people who think the Dodgers will win think it will be by a decent-sized margin, while those who think the Rays are going to win think it will be a close affair.

The run total is set at 8, and 56 percent of bets and handle are on the over.
