The Philadelphia Eagles need someone to pick up the slack with running back Miles Sanders expected to miss at least one game due to a knee injury. But it likely won’t be just one person who fills that void. Boston Scott and Corey Clement will each get some run against the New York Giants on Thursday.
Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RBs Boston Scott, Corey Clement
Neither Scott nor Clement did much of anything in Week 6 against the Ravens. Clement didn’t touch the ball while playing 10 percent of the offensive snaps. Scott played 49 percent of the snaps but took his four touches for just nine yards. But Scott had his moments late last season, including a couple of games in which he gained more than 120 yards from scrimmage in each and scored four total touchdowns. One of those games was against the Giants, and Scott finished with 24.8 DraftKings points. Clement hasn’t done anything of note since 2018. A shoulder injury wiped out most of his 2019 season. He has just 13 touches in six games this year.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
It’s still going to be a timeshare to some extent, but the smart money is on Scott being the majority leader. He should be a nice PPR play versus a Giants defense that has given up the eighth-most receptions and the sixth-most receiving yards to opposing backs. He costs $5,600 on DraftKings.
