The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles have been far from good in 2020, but the two NFC East teams are scheduled to face off in a Thursday Night Football matchup to kick off Week 7. Philadelphia will be the host and can claim control of the division with a win.

The Giants beat the Washington Football Team to secure their first win of the season in Week 6, but saw Darius Slayton go down with a foot injury in the game. The wideout’s status for Week 7 is unclear and his absence could deal a crushing blow to one of the least productive offenses in the NFL. New York’s running backs have made progress filling in for Saquon Barkley but Philadelphia’s defensive line could make it hard for them to get much done on the ground.

The Eagles only fell short to the Baltimore Ravens by 2 points in Week 6 but lost Miles Sanders and Zach Ertz to injuries. DeSean Jackson will return for Week 7 to assist a receiving corps that’s been led by Travis Fulgham, but Carson Wentz has been one of the most inaccurate quarterbacks in the NFL so far this year. Boston Scott likely won’t be able to replace Sanders’ level of production, so Wentz could need to come up big with his arm in this game.

Both teams are banged up and could benefit from role players overachieving. Here are some ESPN PPR points projections to give you an idea of what you can expect from key players on each side.
