John Brown ruled OUT for Week 7

The Bills could be without playmaking wide receiver John Brown in Week 7.

Friday PM update: The Bills have ruled John Brown OUT for Week 7.

Friday AM update: Brown was not spotted at the start of practice, according to Sal Capaccio. This would be his third straight missed practice of the week.

Buffalo Bills wide receiver John Brown missed his second practice of Week 7, per Maddy Glab. Brown missed Week 5 with a calf injury, but also picked up a knee injury somewhere in there. He played last Monday against the Chiefs but wasn’t healthy and didn’t catch any of his four targets.

With the Jets on the docket, it would be prudent to hold him out to get him right, but we’ll see what they decide on Friday. For now, it looks like Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis should see an uptick in work if Brown can’t go or is limited.
