Sunday AM Update: Aaron Jones is OUT for Week 7, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Jamaal Williams becomes a strong start while A.J. Dillon has some value as well if you’re in a pinch.
Friday PM update: Packers coach Matt LeFleur tells reporters that Aaron Jones is more “questionable than doubtful” for Week 7, per Matt Schneidmann. Jones wants to play and if he doesn’t have any setbacks, he appears to have a good chance.
Friday update: Aaron Jones tweaked his calf on Thursday, but still wants to play this week, per Tom Pelissero. Dillon if Jones is out, but he will be too risky for fantasy without knowing how much work he might get.
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was not at practice on Wednesday, per The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman. Jones’ injury is unknown at this time, so we will need updates on the situation. Jones is scheduled to talk with the media today, which isn’t always the case for injured players, so we will learn more soon.
Jones is backed up mainly by Jamaal Williams, while rookie A.J. Dillon has seen very limited work so far. If Jones were to miss Week 7, Williams would have good fantasy upside against a weak Texans defense.
