The No. 12 BYU Cougars have been electric all season long, and they’ll look to remain unblemished on Saturday when welcoming the Texas State Bobcats to Provo.
The wacky 2020 season hasn’t slowed down the independent Cougars, as they have lit up opponents on offense for an average of 43.6 points per game. Cooking on offense has been junior quarterback Zach Wilson, whose 1,641 passing yards, 78.7 completion percentage and 18 total touchdowns has vaulted him to darkhorse Heisman status. Also worth mentioning is their defense which is averaging 3.2 sacks a contest.
On the other side, Texas State is looking to snap a three-game losing streak when heading into LaVell Edwards Stadium. Transfer quarterback Brady McBride will once again get the start for TSU after tossing for 260 yards and a touchdown in last week’s 30-20 loss at South Alabama.

The Best Bet
BYU is the overwhelming favorite at home here but with a starting quarterback now solidified after issues with Covid-19 earlier in the season, expect McBride and the Texas State offense to put up enough points to cover.
Pick: Texas State +28.5
