How to watch Wyoming vs. Nevada and how the public is betting the game

The Mountain West is back, and it starts with Wyoming and Nevada on Saturday night.

Two games will get started at the same time on Saturday night to kick off the Mountain West season, and one will feature the Wyoming Cowboys heading on the road to take on the Nevada Wolf Pack. This game can be seen on CBS Sports Network and streamed on the CBS Sports app when it kicks off at 7 p.m. ET.

Wyoming put together a solid 2019 season with eight wins, and the Cowboys will look to improve on a good year. Sean Chambers has struggled to stay healthy the last two seasons as the quarterback of the Cowboys. He is 9-2 as a starting quarterback so if he can stay on the field, that’s a huge boost to the Wyoming offense. With him out, Levi Williams played plenty of time at QB, and he is likely to see the field as Wyoming utilizes its two-quarterback system.

Nevada is coming off a seven-win season in 2019. The Wolf Pack appear to be in good hands with sophomore quarterback Carson Strong, who threw for 2,335 yards and completed 63.4% of his passes. He tossed 11 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He will have senior Elijah Cooks to throw to after a fantastic season. Cooks finished with 926 yards on 76 catches. He caught eight touchdown passes in 2019 as well.

Bettors are split on the point spread, which currently has Wyoming favored by three points. Fifty-nine percent of point spread bets are on the side of the Cowboys, but 69% of the money is on the Wolf Pack. The point total sits at 51, and 82% of bettors are in on the over as well as 85% of the handle. On the moneyline, Wyoming is at -155 with Nevada at +123. Fifty-seven percent of wagers are going to Wyoming on the moneyline with 76% of the handle.
