What to do with Drew Lock in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Drew Lock’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Broncos Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs.

NFL: Denver Broncos at New England Patriots Paul Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

Last week was a good one for the Denver Broncos, not only did they surprise the New England Patriots, getting their second win in a row. They also got quarterback Drew Lock back from injury, and although his stats were not so great, he looks healthy headed into a Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs. Better still for Lock and the Broncos, they should start getting back some other injured skill players this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos QB Drew Lock

Two picks and a 41 percent completion rate aren’t exactly the kind of numbers you want to see for fantasy purposes. This week the Broncos could see wide receiver KJ Hamler and tight end Noah Fant return to action. Fant’s return would be a big boost for Lock; the two established a connection last year, and had it going again in the first game of the season this year. Hamler gives Denver back its main weapon from the slot.

If all those two are back on the field, the arrow is definitely pointing up for Lock this week. I think he’s a decent streaming option and a good bargain in DFS at just $5,100 in DraftKings leagues.
