What to do with Josh Jacobs in Week 7 fantasy football

We go over Josh Jacobs’ fantasy football outlook ahead of the Raiders Week 7 matchup against the Bucs.

Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has been one of the most productive fantasy players at his position this year. The second-year back will be a big part of his team’s offense in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders RB Josh Jacobs

The Buccaneers give up the least rushing yards per game (64.3). Jacobs could struggle to get his usual yardage on the ground against Tampa Bay’s unit up front, so he may need to depend on touchdowns to make him a quality fantasy play. Jacobs has improved as a pass-catching back this season, but went on a three-game touchdown drought after rushing for three scores in the the season opener. He scored two touchdowns in his last outing, but his streakiness when it comes to reaching the end zone is cause for concern.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Jacobs gets too many touches to not start in this matchup. I’d give him the go-ahead for Week 7, but don’t expect him to produce at his usual level.
