Best, sleeper options to consider for Cup Series DFS at Texas

The NASCAR Cup Series’ Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500 is set for Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET. The race will be aired on NBC Sports and will be run at Texas Motor Speedway. DraftKings has DFS contests available for the race, and we break down some ideal picks and sleepers below.

Best Bets

Kevin Harvick ($11,000)

Harvick the pole sitter and the most expensive driver in the field. He’s worth paying up for because he’s easily been the best driver at Texas in recent years. Harvick has won three of his last six races at the venue while only dropping outside of the top five once. He snapped a streak of poor performances with a second place finish at last week’s Hollywood Casino 400. He’s the favorite to win on DraftKings Sportsbook at +750.

Joe Logano ($9,800)

Logano has the third best odds at +750 and is the sixth-most expensive option. He’s coming off a win at the Hollywood Casino 400 and has four top five finishes in his last seven starts at Texas. Logano has been great in his last two races and could use his recent success at Texas to keep his hot streak going,.

Sleepers

Austin Dillon ($7,500)

Dillon has missed the top 10 in five straight races but was able to pull out a win at Texas in July. While he’s a but of a long shot with only one career top 10 finish at Texas, but he has a decent starting position (12th) that could help stay in the hunt early.

Aric Almirola ($8,100)

Almirola has four straight top 10 finishes at Texas. While he might not have a great shot at winning, he’s one of the most consistent top 10 finishers in the series this year. An average performance can return plenty of value for Almirola at this price point.
