Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is establishing himself as a viable fantasy football quarterback and is coming off a career game in a loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. The rookie threw for 406 yards and three scores with one interception against the Browns and should be one of the top waiver wire targets at the quarterback position ahead of Week 8.
Burrow is among the league leaders in passing attempts with 293 and has eclipsed 300 passing yards five times in seven games. While his touchdown pass numbers are streaky, he has thrown for more than one in three games and has run for three scores. Giovani Bernard wasn’t great on the ground filling in for Joe Mixon but caught five passes for 59 yards and a score. Burrow is 49.5 percent owned in Yahoo fantasy leagues and his passing numbers could get a bump while Mixon is out with a foot injury.
