There are a couple D/STs available that have good matchups heading into Week 8, but pickings are fairly slim. Let’s take a look at a few that might be available in your league this week.

Week 8 Byes: Washington Football Team, Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars

Indianapolis Colts (60 percent)

Next up — @DET, BAL, @TEN, GB, TEN

The Colts defense and special teams has the most fantasy points in the league and coming off their bye, they are only rostered in 60 percent of Yahoo leagues. They also get a decent matchup with the Lions, who are in the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to D/STs.

New Orleans Saints (60 percent)

Next up — @CHI, @TB, SF, ATL, @DEN

Despite coming into Week 8 with a strong record, the Bears have been generous to opposing D/STs this season, ranking 10th-worst in fantasy points allowed. The Saints haven’t been the group they have been in recent years, but they still have a stout run defense and with Nick Foles slinging the rock, mistakes will be made.

Green Bay Packers (20 percent)

Next up — MIN, @SF, JAX, @IND, CHI

Kirk Cousins has been an interception machine this season and the Vikings rank ninth-worst in allowing fantasy points to D/STs. The Packers defense has been below average this year, but Aaron Rodgers should be able to push Cousins to throw more than the Vikings would like.
