Buccaneers and Steelers receive sizable Super Bowl odds boost after Week 7

We break down what teams helped their Super Bowl odds most with impressive Week 7 performances.

The Kansas City Chiefs (+400) and Baltimore Ravens (+600) had the best odds at DraftKings Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl ahead of Week 7 and are still favored above all other teams heading into Week 8. While these two frontrunners didn’t move, others gained ground on the leaders. Let’s go over who the biggest risers were after Week 7’s action.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+800)

The Buccaneers entered Week 7 with the fifth-best odds at +1100 but now sit in third after a securing a blowout win against the Las Vegas Raiders. Tampa Bay has control of the NFC South and appears to be firing on all cylinders through the air. It has arguably the best run defense in the NFL and a star receiving corps that’s about to add Antonio Brown. The Buccaneers have been dominant in their last two games and are about to get even more talented on offense.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+850)

The Steelers are now the only undefeated team left in the NFL by toppling the Tennessee Titans in Week 7 and have seen their odds jump from +1100. Ben Roethlisberger can’t seem to pick a favorite receiver and has a plethora of reliable options out wide. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Chase Claypool, and Diontae Johnson are all capable of having monster games. Pittsburgh’s run defense and wealth of offensive weapons have made it a serious contender.

Arizona Cardinals (+2800)

The Cardinals aren’t in the upper echelon of contenders, but their Week 7 overtime victory against the Seattle Seahawks helped their odds jump from +3300. Defense isn’t Arizona’s forte, but the battery of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins is difficult for any team to contain. Murray’s mobility mixed with Hopkins’ ability to beat one-on-one coverage makes for a dangerous mix. Other impact players like Christian Kirk, Kenyan Drake, and Chase Edmonds give the Cardinals the firepower to compete with the best of the best.
