Halloween is just about upon us! It’s going to be a different kind of Halloween this year given the Covid-19 pandemic, but there are still opportunities to dress up and enjoy ourselves. Just make sure to social-distance wherever you end up on Halloween!
Time is running out, but there are still some last minute costume opportunities. Some are a bit more DIY and some are just a matter of taking advantage of overnight or two-day shipping.
Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo — Hot dog eating champs
This might not be the most notable costume choice this year, but we’re offering a DraftKings connection for the choice. DraftKings and Major League Eating have partnered to run a candy-eating contest on Halloween night. Some of the biggest names in competitive eating will be involved, led by two of the GOATS of competitive eating, Joey Chestnut and Miki Sudo.
We’ve got a pool for predicting who will win and how much candy will be eaten. The pool is free to play and there will be $10,000 in prizes distributed. First place will take home $500.
It really doesn’t feel like Tiger King happened this year. It aired during the pandemic, but late March feels like ages ago. And yet, we can all but guarantee people will be dressed up as one of the notable names from the show.

Technically Baby Yoda debuted in 2019. However, the November launch of The Mandalorian means it was after Halloween. This is something very basic, but it’s an option for getting in on the action.
