The 2020 Major League Baseball season is a wrap and the Los Angeles Dodgers are your World Series champions. The Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays in six games and Corey Seager took home the World Series MVP award after hitting .400 with two home runs and seven runs scored.
We now pivot to the 2021 season. While the NBA and NHL have to adjust their 2020-2021 seasons due to Covid-19, MLB is currently on track to start on time next spring. We await free agency and then spring training, but before then, DraftKings Sportsbook has a first look at 2021 World Series odds.
It’s no surprise the Dodgers and New York Yankees are co-favorites at +500. They have the top two payrolls in baseball and will have plenty of opportunities to reload this offseason. They’re followed by the San Diego Padres at +1100, and the Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays at +1200. All three of those teams are loaded with young talent.
