The Houston Texans are on their bye week, and it is coming at a good time. On Wednesday, the team, closed its facility due to a player testing positive for Covid-19. Ian Rapoport was first to report the news and the team acknowledged it Wednesday morning with an official statement.

The news follows their Week 7 contest with the Green Bay Packers. The positive test has not impacted the Packers, according to reporter Matt Schneidman. The Packers host the Vikings in Week 8. The Texans return in Week 9 from their bye with a road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
