Thursday PM update: John Brown practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday. He appears good to go for Week 8.
Bills wide receiver John Brown will be “good to go at practice,” according to coach Sean McDermott, per Buffalo News’ James McCoy. Brown missed Week 7 against the Chiefs with a knee injury, but appears to be on track for Week 8 against the scuffling New England Patriots at home.
Brown has been dealing with more than one injury this season and was noticeably limited in Week 7 against the Chiefs after missing Week 6. His absence and limited ability while hurt has coincided with a downturn in Josh Allen’s efficiency, so a healthy return would be a big boost to the passing game.
Brown has had some success when healthy this season, catching 14 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns, but his presence as a field stretcher is big. Stefon Diggs and company can find more breathing room in the secondary with Brown out there taking away coverage.
