Friday update: The Eagles have ruled out Miles Sanders for Week 8.

Thursday update: Miles Sanders doesn’t practice on Thursday, per the injury report. He is more than likely out this week, giving Boston Scott another shot to start.

Miles Sanders suffered a knee injury In Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, which kept him out of Week 7’s game against the Giants. His timetable for a return was 1-2 weeks, which makes him iffy for Week 8 when they’ll face the Cowboys.

Sanders was unable to practice on Wednesday, per Delaware News Journal’s Martin Frank. The Eagles do have a Week 9 bye, which would give Sanders an extra week to recover and that appears to be a likely scenario with the information we have at this point.

Boston Scott performed well in place of Sanders last week, rushing 12 times for 46 yards and catching three passes for an additional 46 yards and a touchdown. If he gets another start this week, he’ll get a demoralized Dallas defense that ranks 30th in DVOA against the rush. Play Scott in fantasy, especially in PPR leagues if Sanders can’t go.
