UPDATE: The Falcons have ruled Ridley OUT for the rest of the night.

UPDATE: The Falcons announced Ridley is questionable to return with an ankle injury. He limped to the locker room with a trainer.

The Atlanta Falcons might be down a big-time pass catcher midway through the second quarter of Thursday Night Football. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught a 19-yard pass with 9:12 left in the quarter but was then slow getting up as he reached for his left foot.

Ridley has three catches for 42 yards against the Carolina Panthers. Julio Jones leads the team with four receptions for 85 yards on six targets. Hayden Hurst has matched Ridley’s four targets, catching three passes for 37 yards. Christian Blake has two receptions on two targets for 14 yards and could be looking at more work with Ridley sidelined.
