An early preliminary card fight for UFC Fight Island 4 live from Abu Dhabi and available on ESPN+, Casey Kenney will meet Heili Alateng in the octagon for a bantamweight bout this Saturday.
Kenny is going to come in as the heavy favorite. With a 3-1 UFC career and a loss only to rising star Merab Dvalishvili, Kenny is an active fighter with all four bouts taking place in the last two years. Capable of doing a bit of everything in the cage, he lands 3.66 significant strikes per minute and averages 1.35 takedowns per 15 minutes. He’s an all-around strong competitor.
Alateng has a 2-0 UFC record 14-7-1 overall. His strength is in his grappling, averaging 3.5 takedowns per 15 minutes on 35 percent accuracy. Alateng has been completely out-struck in his two UFC fights yet still won.
Kenney is coming in as the big-time favorite based on the strength of his resume, but if Alateng can get the bout on the mat, he has a chance to pull an upset.
