Injury tracker for Week 5 of college football

There’s never been more of a challenge to keep up with roster changes than in the 2020 college football season. Some schools are claiming they can’t release the names of students affected by by Covid-19, others include contract tracing in that list, and that’s before the games head coaches have played about who is playing and who isn’t for decades.

So in no way should you consider this an exhaustive list. Check with beat writers on Twitter that are on the field or in the press box before the game for the most accurate projection of what might be happening. But we’ll attempt to compile what we can below as the games get closer to kickoff.

There’s never been a more challenging season for handicappers to assess which players are participating and which aren’t during a college football season. And for many games, you can’t even attend and try to find out who is warming up because there are no fans permitted. This is all caveat emptor, but we’ll do the best we can here.
