Sunday update: The weather in Buffalo, NY is looking to favor the run game today with showers projected through the 1 p.m. ET hour and wind gusts topping 25 mph. Josh Allen has a rocket arm that can cut through steel, but it stands to reason that this might be a sloppy, low-scoring run-fest. Even in a positive game-script, each of these backs remain a desperation play.
The Buffalo Bills don’t have a true feature back this year, but Devin Singletary did receive most of the work while Zack Moss was injured. Moss is back in the mix now ahead of a Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots. Let’s go over the fantasy football outlook for the two backs.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bills RBs Devin Singletary, Zack Moss
Singletary leads the Bills in carries and rushing yards but is only averaging 3.8 yards per carry and has only found the end zone once. He only trails Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley in targets but he could have his impact reduced by the return of Moss. Moss has more rushing yards than Singletary since Week 6 but isn’t nearly as much of a threat. He’s averaging fewer than one target per game but has just as many scores as Singletary this season.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Neither back is an ideal fantasy play. If they continue splitting the workload evenly, neither Singletary or Moss is worth starting in season-long fantasy.
