What to do with Kareem Hunt in Week 8 fantasy football

We go over Kareem Hunt’s fantasy football outlook ahead of the Browns Week 8 matchup against the Raiders.

The Cleveland Browns haven’t lost a step in their running game with Nick Chubb on the shelf. Kareem Hunt has stepped into the starting job, taking the lion’s share of the team’s touches out of the backfield, and has emerged as one of the top options at his position in fantasy football.

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns RB Kareem Hunt

Hunt posted 76 rushing and 26 receiving yards last week against the Bengals. He also scored his fourth receiving touchdown of the season, giving him seven total.

This week’s opponent, the Las Vegas Raiders, have struggled to keep running backs out of the end zone, allowing eight rushing touchdowns this season, despite only one player at the position topping 100 yards against them. Hunt’s value is increased by the role he plays in the passing game, and even though the Raiders haven’t allowed running backs to gouge them through the air, the Browns keep Hunt on the field enough to make him one of the better players at his position when it comes to fantasy.
