We go over some interesting betting lines on DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of Week 8 and review how the public is betting.

We’re nearly halfway through the 2020 NFL season and Week 8 will be wrap up on Monday. There are are few games with interesting betting lines on DraftKings Sportsbook that we feel like deserve some attention. Let’s go over some of the more intriguing matchups that are scheduled and look over how the public is betting.

One of the most interesting matchups I see on the docket is the game between the Baltimore Ravens (-205) and Pittsburgh Steelers (+185). The Ravens are 4-point favorites at home but the public appears to think the road team can pull off an upset and improve to 7-0. Bettors have placed 80 percent of the handle and 68 percent of the total bets on the Steelers coming out on top. The Ravens are 2-1 at M&T Bank Stadium with one loss to the Kansas City Chiefs but have won by an average of 28 points on their home turf. I think there’s a good chance Baltimore comes back refreshed after a bye and asserts itself as a powerhouse.

The Kansas City Chiefs (-2000) are 19.5 point favorites against the New York Jets (+1150) and I think this game could be ideal for point spread bets. New York might be the worst team in the NFL but covered the spread as 12.5-point underdogs against the Buffalo Bills in Week 7. Bets on Kansas City covering make up 82 percent of the handle. While the Jets might not make this game competitive, they have enough in the tank to avoid a 20-point blowout with Sam Darnold back under center rather than Joe Flacco.

The over/under for the Sunday’s matchup between the Tennessee Titans (-235) and Cincinnati Bengals (+200) is installed at 53.5 and only one other game can top that. This is one of a few games that could be seriously affected by undesirable weather conditions. There will be sustained winds of at least 15 mph throughout the matchup and some gusts could reach 25 mph. That bodes well for the Titans, as they can pound the ground with Derrick Henry. However, the Bengals will be without Joe Mixon and will have to rely on the pass much more than their opponents. Bettors have placed 72 percent of the handle and 64 percent of the total bets on the over in this matchup. I think the under seems like a safer bet at this point.
