UPDATE: The second round wrapped and the third round is underway. Full tee times are here. The first groups started at 8:09 a.m. ET. They included Adam Schenk, Johnson Wagner, and Hank Lebioda at No. 1 and Hunter Mahan, Robert Streb, and Aaron Wise at No. 10. The final trio of Ryan Armour, Wyndham Clark, and Kramer Hickok tees off at 10:10 a.m. at No. 1.
The PGA Tour is headed into the weekend at Port Royal Golf Course in Bermuda. The 2020 Bermuda Championship has nearly reached the halfway point with a two-way tie for first place and plenty of golfers in the hunt. Ryan Armour and Wyndham Clark lead the way at -8, followed by Kramer Hickok at -7. Ollie Schniederjans and Doc Redman follow a stroke back at -6 to round out the top five.
However, there are still five golfers yet to complete their second round. The round was suspended Friday early evening due to darkness leaving Kristoffer Ventura and Justin Suh on 18 and Hank Lebioda, Danny Walker, and Michael Gellerman on 17. Soooooooo close.
The cut has not been formally finalized because of that, but based on where everyone is at, it’s going to finish at +1. At the suspension of play, 71 golfers are above the cut line. Ventura is at +1 with just the final hole to go.
Once the final golfers wrap up, tee times will be settled for the third round. Tee times and groupings in the first two rounds of PGA tournaments using a merit system based on a player’s status on the Tour. Tee times and groupings for the third and fourth rounds of tournaments are based on the leaderboard in the preceding round.
Armour and Clark will make up the final pair on Saturday once that gets going. We’ll drop in a full list of tee times for Round 3 of the 2020 Bermuda Championship once they are available Saturday morning.
