The Khaki Bowl is on for Halloween afternoon as the Ole Miss Rebels will head to Nashville for a cross-division SEC matchup with the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Ole Miss lost to Auburn 35-28 last Saturday, and head coach Lane Kiffin finds himself $25,000 poorer after the league fined him for retweeting a tweet critiquing SEC officials for not reviewing a critical play during the game. Quarterback Matt Corral didn’t have his best day passing with two interceptions but he made up for it with 88 yards rushing on the ground and a pair of rushing TD’s.

Vanderbilt meanwhile is simply trying to survive the 2020 season. Due to COVID-19 outbreaks within the team, the lowly Commodores only had 56 scholarship players on hand during their 41-7 blowout loss to South Carolina a few weeks back. The ‘Dores are 0-3, averaging just 2.9 yards per carry, and two turnovers per game. It’s really bad right now, and quarterback Ken Seals will need to be better.
