For tight end Robert Tonyan, the Packers Week 8 matchup against the Vikings is a prove it game. After a breakout game a couple games ago he has fallen off a bit. How will he fare fantasy wise this week?

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers TE Robert Tonyan

Tonyan came back to earth last time out as he saw only two targets. You could say the game was wrapped up early, but the lack of targets is concerning. His season best is still six catches and he could match that against this very bad Vikings team. The problem is a full tight end room who will all want touches and more usage.

Adding to the issues is this game can get out of hand early and that means a heavy run game, which is not good for those with Tonyan on their fantasy roster. A positive is he does get looks in the red zone and that could be a saving grace if Aaron Rodgers gets to him early. However, with a healthy Davante Adams that seems unlikely.
