In a middleweight bout that will serve as the main event for UFC Las Vegas 12, #10 Uriah Hall will take on Anderson Silva in a five-round fight live from Las Vegas, Nevada and available on ESPN+.

Hall will enter as the favorite, but when fighting a legend like Silva, it’s always going to be a tough one to gauge.

Having been defeated by #2 Paulo Costa, #1 Robert Whittaker and #7 Derek Brunson, Hall is just 8-7 in the UFC. With a 79-inch reach, Hall typically relies on his striking. He averages 3.31 significant strikes per minute with six of eight UFC wins coming via knockout.

Hall absorbs 3.57 blows per minute which could be a problem against a decorated fighter like Silva. “The Spider” is one of the most decorated fighters in UFC history.

Despite being on a two-bout losing streak, Silva does have a win over Brunson and has taken current champion Israel Adesanya to a decision. Also a striker by nature, he averages 3.04 significant strikes per minute on 62 percent accuracy, taking 1.98 and defending 61 percent of his opponent’s attempts.

Although he has the accolades, Silva is 45, and the public are betting like he’s not going to get out of the rut he’s currently in.

Here are the odds and betting splits at DraftKings Sportsbook for Uriah Hall vs. Anderson Silva at UFC Vegas 12 on October 31st.

Betting splits

Uriah Hall: -230, (67% of action, 67% of bets)
Anderson Silva: +185, (33% of action, 33% of bets)

DraftKings DFS Values

Uriah Hall: $8,600
Anderson Silva: $7,600

While it’s terrific to see a legend like Silva continue his career, at age 45 and winless in over three years, Hall would seem to be the better way to spend salary cap. However he’s also not a fighter with great fantasy value, averaging only 76 DFS points in his last three wins.

Unless this is a first-round stoppage, you can probably find better value elsewhere on this card.
