Best bets for UFC Fight Night on Halloween

UFC is back in Las Vegas! Anderson Silva vs Urijah Hall headline a solid card. The headlines are set on that, but there is also much value elsewhere in the card. I’ll give you five best bets for tonight’s card.

Anderson Silva ML +185

You have to start with the main event. A legend fighting in perhaps his last fight ever is so intriguing, but has had mixed results. At +185, Silva is an underdog and that’s why I love him for a best bet here. Silva knows how dangerous Hall is and while he has had a rough stretch, Silva will go out in blaze of glory here.

Silva vs. Hall under 4.5 rounds -125

Adding a best bet to that fight makes sense since it’s the biggest of the night. Go ahead and take under 4.5 rounds, valued at -125. I foresee a finish and while I believe Silva will deliver it, Hall is no joke. He can go with Silva and catch him for a KO/TKO. This fight should not go the distance.

Bryce Mitchell ML -150

Moving on, let’s go with my favorite lock pick. Bryce Mitchell at -150. The charismatic fighter dubbed ‘Thug Nasty’ has been a revelation both in fighting and on the mic. He is a lock here versus a veteran that does not have the grappling to match. Combined with a youthful exuberance and you got a winner in Mitchell.

Greg Hardy by KO -134

Another entertaining albeit controversial fighter, Greg Hardy. For this fight, I really like it for a finish by KO. The UFC has seemed to be just lining up fighters for slaughter to Hardy. I don’t see that changing here and at -134, Hardy by KO is a pretty good bet.

Glover Teixeira ML +175

Lastly, a best bets is not complete without an underdog pick. For this, give me Glover Teixeira at +175. This fight between two great fighters in Glover and Thiago Santos. I like Teixeira because his experience makes him a tough out and if he can use some of that power in the right spots, he can win. It’s a very close fight and the value is solid.
