This one is a bit crafty: Check out what the game management staff at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater broke out for a game against their Big 12 rival Texas on Saturday:

It didn’t work as the kick was good, but that’s some next-level thinking by the folks in game operations. We respect the effort here. Even if UT kicker Cameron Dicker wasn’t phased by it, he’s also one of the better boots in college football.
That might come back to be helpful against another opponent later in the year... if the NCAA or Big 12 don’t show this move the proper respect and shut it down before next Saturday permanently.
But it might have been a bit of Karma as well, as the #6 Cowboys are trailing to the unranked Longhorns as the game heads into overtime. Spncer sanders has thrown for 393 yards and four touchdowns so far today, but it’ll take an extra effort to move the game into the win column.
