Todd Gurley owns the Atlanta Falcons backfield, and while he is unlikely to have many blowup performances, his workload provides him with significant value and a good enough floor to be startable in most leagues. How will he fare against the Packers defense in Week 4? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons RB Todd Gurley
Alvin Kamara destroyed the Packers defense in Week 3 as he galloped his way to 44.7 PPR points. Kamara had 6 carries for 58 yards, but did most of his damage in the passing game as he had 13 receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, Gurley isn’t significantly involved in the passing game, and his upside will be limited in comparison to Kamara’s performance. Even so, he still has significant opportunity for success this week. He is more comparable to Latavius Murray, who had 12 carries for 58 yards. Given Gurley’s weekly volume, he is a solid start against a Packer’s defense that has allowed 4.9 yards to carry to running backs on the year.
