What to do with Gardner Minshew in Week 4 fantasy football

After a disappointing outing versus the Dolphins last Thursday, what is in store for the Jags QB when they fly up to Cincinnati this weekend?

Gardner Minshew was rendered mostly ineffective in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 31-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football last week.

The mustached wonder from Washington State is looking to put together a solid enough effort to get the Jags back to .500 when heading to Cincinnati this Sunday.

Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew

Despite throwing the ball 42 times last Thursday, Minshew’s production dipped with him only averaging just 6.5 yards per completion with no touchdowns and one pick.

The targets were spread out among Jaguar pass catchers with rising running back James Robinson making the most of his, catching all six of his targets for 83 yards.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

The Cincinnati ‘D’ has only yielded three passing touchdowns so far this season. In contrast, they’ve sported one of the worst rush defenses in the league, already yielding 545 yards on five yards a carry and five rushing touchdowns.

This indicates a bulk of the Jacksonville offense will rest on the legs of Robinson this week and unless the agile Minshew can get in on the ground attack, I’d sit him.
