The Bucs have an elite stable of tight ends at their disposal

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one of the better groups of tight ends in the league, in Rob Gronkowski and O.J. Howard. The team also takes on a bottom-half pass defense this week as they welcome the 1-2 Los Angeles Chargers to Tampa this weekend. So does that make for a good fantasy matchup?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard

Howard and Gronk are both coming off their best games of the season in their win over the Denver Broncos last week. They each got their highest totals in yards with 49 and 48 respectively.

That’s the issue with the Bucs from a fantasy perspective. Having two good players at one position tends to limit the productivity of the other. Combined this season the two have just 155 yards and one touchdown. Quarterback Tom Brady is known for spreading the ball around to his receivers. Though in a new offense with unfamiliar faces, one would think Gronk would be his go-to guy, but that hasn't proved true yet this season.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Both of these players are great for Bucs fans on the field, but from a fantasy perspective, they just haven’t given players a lot of production this year. They do face a weak pass defense this week, but they’ve locked down tight ends so far in 2020, outside of human cheat-code Travis Kelce. Sit these guys
